Ron Moss participates in city crack-down.

Ron Moss does not sweat the small stuff.

The City of Buffalo announced this week that they are following New York City's 1990's "broken window" model by cracking down on minor offenses. It has been demonstrated that by sweating the small stuff, the more serious crime and quality of life issues can be managed.

Please click on ticket for larger view and to read the offense.

Not to be left out, Buffalo cab driver emeritus - family nut - mayoral candidate Ron Moss decided to volunteer for the program. So today he yelled an obscenity at an unmarked police car after being told to get his shopping cart out of the street.

Wow - FU's are expensive.

Not nearly as expensive as "I do."

The "ofc." who wrote this ticket should, in turn, be written up for assault on the English language. When I read it, I scream at the confusion of tense. My yell could probably be hear from 100ft.

Poor Ron! I hope he fights the ticket...I think what he really said was " Thank you" But the officer has a dirty mind!

So Ron lives on Bridgeman, yet they apprehended him over on Delaware--? Boy, he can cover a lot of ground with that shopping cart - although, now that I think about it, that's still less than the distance between dairy and paper products at a Wegmans near me...

Next time Ron runs for mayor, how about a parade of shopping carts down Delaware starting from Amherst with folks joining in all along the way (those few without carts of their own could ride in one), and shouting obscenities in the direction of City Hall--? The mob would build, Steve Casey would see it coming on one of his cameras, and the current administration would pack up and flee before the people arrived to take back their government in a bloodless coup!

Party afterward at Big Blue--?

Yikes - a friend who read my comments above said she couldn't tell if I was honoring Ron or or engaging in high snark mockery. Easy: honoring Ron! RaChaCha was raised better than to engage in high snark - especially against my fine neighbors to the west. ;-)

Rachacha,

Your parade idea was fantastic!

No mockery was taken. Your friend doesn't yet know Moss well enough to understand that the world is merely Ron Moss's joke on us.

I have never seen anybody get the better of Moss. He is way to sharp for mortals. Infact I've seen Moss cut smart alecks down to size faster than the best stand-up comics. The larger the crowd the better!
